SK files lawsuit to ‘vacate Noh So-young Art Center’ amid divorce proceedings
It has been reported that SK Innovation has filed a lawsuit against Art Center Nabi, an art museum run by Ms. Noh So-young, who is currently in a divorce proceeding with Group Chairman Choi Tae-won, to vacate the property.
On the 14th of last month, SK innovation filed a lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court against Art Center Nabi for the delivery of real estate.
The property that SK Innovation is seeking to evict is the 4th floor of the Seorin Building, the headquarters of SK Group in Jongno-gu, Seoul, where Art Center Butterfly is located.
Art Center Nabi opened here in December 2000.
The Seorin Building is managed by SK Innovation, whose contract with the art center reportedly ended several years ago.
Previously, Choi filed for divorce mediation against Noh in 2017 after she revealed a child out of wedlock in 2015안전놀이터.
Noh filed a counter-suit in 2019, demanding 300 million won in alimony and 50 percent of Choi’s SK holdings as property division.
In December of last year, the first court ruled that SK shares were not subject to property division as they were special property and only awarded 100 million won in alimony and 66.5 billion won in cash.
Both sides have appealed, and the second trial is underway.
In March this year, Noh filed a claim for 3 billion won in damages against Choi’s sister-in-law, Kim Hee-young, chairwoman of the TNC Foundation.
