“How did you educate your children?”‥Is this good?

There was a thread on an online message board titled “How the hell do you raise your kids?”.

I thought it was going to be another one of those stories about unruly teenagers… but it turned out to be quite the opposite.

The author said he saw six young students running around안전놀이터 in an alley in a residential neighbourhood in Bucheon.

They were picking up cigarette butts and rubbish with plastic bags in their hands in the name of street cleaning.

“Their parents did a great job educating them,” he wrote.

They were so impressed that they bought the kids ice cream, which they said was totally worth the money.

Others praised the students, saying, “I want to buy them beef as well as ice cream.”

I was worried about the recent news of crimes and deviant behaviour among young people, but it was very heartwarming to see this.
